Corn And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. salt pork
    2 1/2 lb. lima beans
    3 peeled tomatoes, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 ears corn, cut from cob
Preparation
    Slice salt pork almost through in several places; place in large kettle.
    Add 2 quarts boiling water, beans, tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Cook for 30 minutes.
    Add corn, cook for 3 minutes longer.
    Yields 6 servings.
