Oriental Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chow mein noodles
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. (6 oz.) butterscotch flavored chips
1 (3 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place noodles and coconut on cookie sheet in single layer.
Bake 10 minutes or until crisp.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
Remove from heat; stir in almonds, coconut and noodles.
Drop mixture by teaspoons onto waxed paper.
Cool until set.
Makes about 5 dozen chews.
