Red Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 sq. bitter chocolate or 4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. thick sour milk
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, melted chocolate and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk and water. Pour in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Frost.
