Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 graham cracker pie shell, baked and cooled
    4 eggs, separated
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    1/2 c. lime juice (fresh or bottled)
    2 tsp. grated lime rind (optional)
    3 drops green food coloring
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add condensed milk and juice; beat until thick.
    Stir in lime rind and food coloring. Pour mixture into crust.
    Stiffly beat eggs until foamy with cream of tartar.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff.
    Spread meringue on top of pie, sealing carefully to edge of crust.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.
    Cool. Refrigerate leftovers.
