Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. white syrup
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. corn meal (optional)
    1 c. brown or white sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
Preparation
    Beat evaporated milk, sugar and eggs well.
    Blend in salt, vanilla, corn meal and sugar.
    Stir in pecans; pour into pie shell.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Lower temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking until knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
