Stay-Abed Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
    1 can tiny peas (if you like them)
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of celery or mushroom or tomato, thinned with 1/2 can water
    1 big raw potato, sliced
    1 piece bay leaf
    2 c. chopped onions
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Mix these ingredients together in a casserole dish that has a tight lid.
    Put the lid on and put the casserole in a 275\u00b0 oven. Cooks by itself and is done in 5 hours.
    Stir well before serving. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
