Patty'S Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can LeSueur English peas, drained
1 can asparagus, drained
1 can water chestnuts, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 slices white bread
1 stick oleo
8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In a casserole dish, layer each of the ingredients in order given except oleo and bread.
Do not dilute the soup; spread it out on top of the vegetables.
Melt oleo and soak each slice of bread until all the oleo is absorbed.
Cut or tear bread into small pieces and place on top of cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes until bread is browned lightly.
