Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 rounded Tbsp. shortening
    1 beaten egg
    enough milk to make soft dough
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add egg and milk to make soft dough.
    Roll out to thickness desired and cut into squares.
    Drop into boiling chicken broth.
