5 c. prepared fruit (2 qt.)
7 c. sugar
1 box Sure-Jell
Preparation

Wash and cap strawberries; mash.
Put fruit in saucepan on high heat and stir until mixture comes to full boil.
Add all of sugar at once and stir well.
Bring to full boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and skim off foam. Ladle into hot jars, filling to within 1/8-inch from top.
Cover and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
Makes 8 cups or 9 (8-ounce) jars.
