Savory Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (at room temperature)
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento (if desired)
    1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator crescent rolls
    3/4 c. seasoned Pepperidge Farm croutons, crushed
Preparation
    In medium bowl, blend cheese and 2 tablespoons of butter until smooth.
    Add next 6 ingredients.
    Mix well.
