Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    12 oz. caramel topping
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Combine oatmeal, flour, nuts, sugar and margarine.
    Stir well. Stir into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0, stirring occasionally to get crispy.
    Remove from oven.
    Let cool.
    Remove from pan onto a dish.
    Then put a layer of crumb mixture back in pan.
    Drizzle caramel topping over crumb mixture.
    Slice ice cream with a knife into blocks to lay in pan to fit.
    Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top of ice cream. Saran wrap and freeze 3 hours before serving.
