Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced, cooked potatoes (5 medium)
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 c. milk
    dash of white pepper
    dash of chives
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat.
    Blend in flour, salt and white pepper.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add cooked potatoes and heat through.
    Season with chives. Serves 8 to 10.
