Sure Shot Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

54 oz. Grandma's beans
1/2 c. brown sugar (dark)
8 strips bacon
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Render bacon in frying pan until most of fat is out of it. Do not overcook.
Put aside.
Pour beans into an 8 x 8-inch ungreased baking pan.
After smoothing evenly, add brown sugar. Sprinkle water over top. If necessary, little drops of water can be added.
Now bacon is set on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 20 minutes, until beans get bubbly.
Make sure bacon does not get too crisp or burn.
Cool for 5 minutes, then ready to serve.
Bottom of pan is quite hot.
Beans can be reheated.
