Ingredients

1 1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
beets
1 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
sprigs of dill
Preparation

Boil and peel, cut in cubes.
Make enough brine to cover beets in kettle.
First boil the brine, add the beets, bring to boil again.
Put sprig of dill in each jar.
Pack beets and cover with brine.
Seal jars tightly.
