Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. oil
    4 cloves minced garlic
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
    1 c. beef broth
    1 (13 oz.) can tomatoes
    6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt or less
Preparation
    Heat 3 tablespoons oil in large pan.
    Sear round steak (cut into 1/2-inch cubes) until lightly browned.
    Add 1 tablespoon oil, garlic and onion.
    Cook until wilted.
    Add oregano, chili powder, cumin and red pepper.
    Mix well.
    Add broth, tomatoes, paste, sugar and salt.
    Mix.
    Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours until meat is very tender.
    Serve over egg noodles.
