Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soda, dissolved
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 1/2 c. applesauce

Preparation

Bake in slow oven at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
