Mushroom Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. red pepper sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces (undrained)
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef (boneless)
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle one side of beef steak with half of the flour mixture; pound in.
    Turn beef and pound in remaining flour mixture.
    Cut beef into 6 serving pieces.
    Heat oil in 10-inch skillet until hot.
    Cook beef in oil over medium heat, turning once, until brown, about 10 minutes.
    Add onion.
    Mix remaining ingredients except water and mushrooms; stir in water and mushrooms.
    Pour over beef.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer until beef is tender, about 1 hour.
    Makes 6 servings; 180 calories per serving.
