Sicilian Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    3/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked, drained noodles
Preparation
    Brown meat; drain.
    Add onion; cook until tender.
    Stir in tomato paste, water and seasonings; simmer 5 minutes.
    Saute green pepper in margarine; add cream cheese and milk, stirring until cream cheese melts.
    Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt and noodles. In a 6 x 10-inch baking dish, arrange alternate crosswise rows of meat and noodles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
