Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, margarine and baking soda together.
Measure molasses; put soda into cup and add boiling water.
Hold cup over pie shell when adding water, as it will bubble over.
Crumble crumb mixture into liquid in pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Finished pie should have a gooey layer on bottom and dry crumbs on top.
