Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 large head cabbage
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. grated carrots
Preparation
    Shread cabbage and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze out excess fluid.
