Chow-Chow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. green tomatoes (ground)
6 bell peppers (3 green 3 red)
1 large cabbage (ground)
6 large onions (ground)
6 jalapeno peppers (ground)
1 qt. white vinegar
3 to 4 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1 large bag pickling spices (whole tied in cheese cloth)
Tbsp. powdered cloves
Preparation

Grind all vegetables and drain juice off. Add a quart or more if needed, of white vinegar. Add all remaining ingredients, mix well and cook for 30 minutes. Fill hot jars and seal. Boil sealed jars in water for 10 minutes. Makes 8 pints.
