Peppered Beef With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    1 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    dash of garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
Preparation
    Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Add onion and steak strips and brown about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
