Molasses Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream together first 4 ingredients, then add dry ingredients. Roll dough into small balls and place on cookie sheet.
    Flatten into circles with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
