Sour Cream Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium egg noodles
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    3/4 c. minced onion
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles, drain.
    Quickly fold in cottage cheese, sour cream and onion.
    Set aside.
    Cook meat.
    Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Spoon half noodle mixture into well-buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Top with half meat mixture; repeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
