Mrs. Ledbetter'S Chocolate Pie(Recipes From "My Just Desserts") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) bar German sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (10-inch) pie crust, unbaked
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter, stirring to blend, in top of double boiler or microwave on High, about 1 minute.
    Cool slightly.
    In medium bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add sugar, cornstarch and salt; beat until smooth.
    Blend in chocolate mixture.
    Gradually add evaporated milk and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Sprinkle coconut and pecans over filling.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until top is puffed and slightly browned.
    If top browns too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil during last 10 minutes of baking.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
