Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. meal
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oil
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. cream style corn
Preparation
    Mix above ingredients into a batter.
    Pour 1/2 into greased bread pan.
    Layer 1 cup grated cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup chopped Italian peppers over batter.
    Add rest of batter and bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Let cool in pan 10 minutes before removing.
