Cucumber Freeze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers (5 medium)
    2 medium onions
    1/2 c. salt
    1 gal. water or 3 qt.
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    celery seed
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers and onions in salt water 2 hours (1/2 cup salt to 1 gallon water or 3 quarts).
    Drain; rinse.
    Boil sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour over cucumbers. Mix.
    Freeze for 5 days.
