German Casserole(Great Winter Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger (may add or substitute kielbasa)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 head cabbage, sliced up
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can sliced potatoes, drained
    1/4 tsp. caraway seed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute cabbage and onion in margarine until tender with salt and pepper. Lay drained potatoes on top of cabbage and onion. Sprinkle caraway seed next.
    Crumble raw hamburger on top of vegetables.
    (If adding kielbasa, do so now.) Cover all with tomato sauce.
    (If mixture looks too dry, add 1/2 tomato sauce can of water.)
    Cover with lid and simmer on low for 1 hour.
