Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips bacon
    1 medium sliced onion
    4 c. water
    4 beef bouillon cubes
    3 Tbsp. rice
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    3 Tbsp. milk, cream or sour cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. carrots, peeled and chopped
Preparation
    Chop bacon and brown.
    Add chopped onion with 1 1/2 tablespoons butter; cook until onion is limp.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
