Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. mace
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. cake flour
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
    Sift together mace, salt and flour.
    Mix cream mixture together with milk and vanilla.
    Alternately add flour mixture to cream/milk mixture.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Do not open oven for entire time.
