Cabbage Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 medium cabbage
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (18 oz.) can tomato paste
    8 oz. Mozzarella low-fat cheese, sliced
Preparation
    Saute ground beef, onion and pepper until meat is brown.
    Boil cabbage until tender.
    Save 2 cups of liquid from cabbage and drain off excess.
    Combine reserved liquid, oregano, salt, pepper and tomato paste.
    Simmer over low heat for 4 minutes.
    Add meat mixture to tomato liquid.
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer cabbage, then tomato mixture.
    Repeat layer.
    Top with slices of cheese. Bake at 400\u00b0 until cheese is browned, about 30 to 45 minutes. Serves 8.
