Ingredients

4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
2 cans tart cherries
red food coloring
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1 1/2 c. broken pecans
Preparation

Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Pour cherry mixture in dish.
Crumble dry cake mix directly from box over cherry mixture. Slice margarine over mix.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Bake approximately 50 to 60 minutes or until brown.
