German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sliced bacon
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 lb. small red potatoes, cooked and sliced
Preparation
    Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces.
    Cook in skillet until crisp. Remove pieces from skillet and drain.
    Pour off drippings, reserving 2 tablespoons to return to skillet.
    Blend in sugar, onion, flour and seasonings.
    Gradually add water and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Add potatoes and bacon pieces.
    Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally 5 minutes, or until heated through.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
