Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. instant nonfat dry milk
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 1/4 c. water
1 can condensed chicken broth (undiluted)
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. chopped scallions or grated onions
1 pkg. frozen broccoli, defrosted
1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded (6 oz.)
chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation

Combine dry milk, flour and seasonings in a 3-quart heavy pot. Stir in water and condensed chicken broth until smooth.
Bring to boil over medium heat.
Stir constantly.
Boil and stir for 1 minute.
Briefly saute onion in margarine.
Stir onion mixture and broccoli into thickened mixture.
Continue to stir until broccoli is heated.
Pour into soup serving bowl.
Sprinkle cheese over top.
Add parsley as garnish.
Serve immediately.
