Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large pepper (optional)
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. dill weed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Slice cut carrots, cook until tender and drain.
    Cut peppers in thin strips.
    Combine soup, sugar and dill; bring to boil. Cook until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool, then add all ingredients. Chill overnight.
