Danish Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 c. flour
3 eggs
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients lightly to make pastry, spread on ungreased cookie sheet in 2 pieces 3 x 12-inch.
Bring to boil 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup water and almond flavoring; remove from stove. Add flour and eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Spread on pastry; bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
When cool, top with frosting, maraschino cherries and slivered almonds.
