Ingredients

1 c. butter flavor shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
Preparation

Cream shortening, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients, stir into creamed mixture.
Shape 1 teaspoon of dough into a ball.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press dough with floured fork to make a crisscross.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
