Oatmeal Sandwich Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. brown sugar
3 c. oleo or Crisco
8 eggs
2 tsp. salt
8 c. flour
8 c. oatmeal
4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking powder
8 tsp. soda, dissolved in 3/4 c. boiling water

Preparation

Add soda water last.
Mix ingredients in order given.
