Orange Pineapple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 oz. orange gelatin
    2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. grated mild cheese
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 large container whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine pineapple juice with sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir until it boils.
    Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
    Add water and chill until mixture thickens enough to keep the cheese and nuts from going to the bottom.
    Fold in cheese, nuts and whipped topping.
    Refrigerate in tight container.
    This makes a large salad.
