Ingredients

1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 egg, separated
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. heavy cream
Preparation

Cream butter in bowl until softened and smooth.
Gradually add and beat in the sugar; beat until blended.
Add egg yolk and beat well.
Mix in the maple syrup and vanilla and beat until creamy. Whip egg white until it forms stiff peaks; whip the cream until stiff.
Fold beaten egg white and whipped cream into butter mixture. Good over squares of warm uniced cake.
