Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can unsweetened pie cherries
    1 (19-oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 to 2 sticks butter
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour cherries and pineapple into a 13x9x2-inch pan, mix well. Spread dry cake mix evenly over mixture.
    Sprinkle with nuts and completely cover with very thinly sliced butter.
    (To slice butter more easily, place in freezer a few minutes befire using.)
    Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
