Mideastern Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 c. margarine
1 1/3 c. Minute rice
1 1/3 c. beef or chicken bouillon
1 c. diced cooked ham or chicken
3/4 c. corn or peas, cooked
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
Preparation

Saute onion in margarine until translucent.
Add rice; saute for 3 minutes.
Add bouillon, cooked diced ham or chicken, cooked corn or peas and raisins.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
Stir in toasted almonds and serve.
