Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 or 4 bananas, sliced
    1/2 box vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Mix sugar, egg yolks and 1/2 of the milk to form a paste.
    Add the remainder of milk, flour and vanilla; cook in microwave for six or seven minutes.
    Stir after the first 3 minutes.
    Layer wafers, bananas and pudding mixture with wafers ending up on top. Beat egg whites with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to make meringue.
    Spread on top of wafers and brown in oven. Serve hot or cold.
