Toast With Creamed Salmon - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
2 c. milk
1 can salmon (14 oz.), drained and skin removed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
6 slices bread, toasted
Preparation

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; add onions. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in salmon, salt and pepper. Let cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until thoroughly heated.
