Carol'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
