Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. cocoa
Preparation
    Mix and sift flour and salt.
    Add cocoa and sift together twice.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour and cocoa mixture.
    Add pecans.
    Turn into greased shallow pan.
    Bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cut into squares before removing from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Place in a cookie jar or covered dish immediately.
