Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    10 Tbsp. sugar (3/4 c.)
    4 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    2/3 c. melted shortening
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 2 cups warm water.
    Add 1 tablespoon sugar and let set 10 minutes.
    Mix milk, sugar and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add milk mixture to yeast mixture and add melted shortening.
    Add flour and mix well, then let set for 30 minutes.
