Curried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts, toasted
Preparation
    Combine 2 1/2 cups of water and salt in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and add rice.
    Cover.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Pour 1/2 cup of water over raisins.
    Let stand 1 minute.
    Drain raisins; set aside.
    Combine butter and curry powder.
    Stir curry mixture, raisins and walnuts into rice.
    Serves 4 to 6.
