Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck or ground round
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 cans kidney beans, drained
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 large can tomato sauce (could add another small can)
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion in large skillet.
    Drain excess fat. Add all other ingredients and simmer covered for 20 to 25 minutes. May need to add a little water, if needed.
