Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. rhubarb, cut up (1/2-inch pieces)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine first 2 ingredients and set aside. Mix rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar. Combine and set aside. Cream butter, egg, sugar and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with 1 cup buttermilk. Fold rhubarb mix into cake.
